So far so good! I've only had it a few days so we haven't gone on any wild adventures in the backpack so far, but he does love it so far! Spent the first few days just leaving it out so he could get used to it on his own. After a few days I tried actually closing it up and carrying him around in it, and he's totally comfortable in it! I'll update this review once we've gona on some longer adventures with it.For age/size reference: he is somewhere between 6-8 months old!
I got this backpack for my little kitten and he fits perfectly! The carrier definitely has more room for him to grow into which is nice. It is definitely sturdier and much better quality than I was anticipating. The little pocket on the side is super helpful for holding treats, keys etc. and the other side (where there is a little mesh "window" w/ a zipper) is really nice for giving your pet treats or pets. A big plus is that the main zipper (that zips the turquoise fabric to the clear portion of the backpack) zips all the way under the backpack, aka your pet won't be able to unzip the backpack from the inside. Overall, its a great way to let your pet see the world!
First thing first i added velcrow strips to keep the bottom pad in place at all times but it does not come with said velcrow strips. But its Perfect and the little fan is awesome. Very sturdy and safe. Escape proof and very very well built. My cat is 15 lbs with 4 inch long fur adding to his body size and is rather large and he fits perfectly inside. And the fan helps keep him from overheating. Wonderful product and easy to clean. My tubby oliver likes to take big ole poops everytime hes inside it. I also like how the zippers are all hidden from reach of the cat so its definitely escape proof and well worth the 80$ i spent with the fan.
Both my cat and I loves this carrier. He enjoy the beautiful view from the front. It's well made and easy to carry just throw it on your back and go. When ur not walking you can extend the back making it bigger. The only thing is if your pet is too big it would be uncomfortable because it small when it's zipped up so pay attention to the size recommendation.
Expands for testing, collapses to continue walking/carrying. Kitty was curious and got in on her own when first introduced (not common, she's very timid). She loves the texture inside and will hang out in it if I leave it unzipped and sitting around the house. Very sturdy why zipped up, wobbles around as she walks through it when unzipped (tipped a couple of times but easy enough for Kitty to navigate). Would recommend!
I love this product. It is absolutely adorable! Looks just like the photo. I took my 9 month old kitten out it in for the first time, and she seemed to do overall well with it. I did notice that the inside does get pretty hot when it's zipped up, so the fan is very nice! My cat personally likes to be carried on the front more than the back. But she definitely has enough room to turn around and lay down whenever she wants to. I am looking forward to continuing to try this on her. I will update with any further changes in her enjoyment!
We keep this cat carrier in a corner when we aren't traveling, and I turn around and find our cat, Piper, sleeping in it all the time. She has the run of a pretty large house, soft beds and furniture, but yup, she's sleeping in her safe place. I think it blocks out some of the noises for her. The bottom when completely closed up could be a little firmer since she is pretty much standing on it when it's in that position. But I LOVE the fan it came with, and I pretty much stole it from the cat for use when I have hot flashes! What a bonus!
