I volunteer at a shelter. This is perfect for me. The only complaint is how stiff and brittle the clips are to hold the shoulder strap. If you're changing frequently from belt to shoulder and back I wouldn't buy this but since I'm just using the shoulder its perfect for me. Multiple places to hold different treats and a place for my swipe card so I never have to take it out to use.
Last one I had 5 years till pretty worn out. I'd still have it if the darn racoons hadn't destroyed it on our last camping adventure. The new ones is nice to have now after 5 years proven reliability on the old one. I've used the old one 3-5 miles every day twice a day in all weather conditions. I think stuffing mittens in it in michigan winters took a bit of a stretch toll over time but i can't complain.
Works for what we needed.
This is a great pouch with several zippers. We have a border collie puppy and are using it for our training sessions.
The pouch is perfect in size and its made very well. It was great when we used it at training classes for my puppy. It was deep enough to hold treats plus has a side pocket that holds poop bags. The adjustable strap for the waist was very convenient. Highly recommend this product...use it all the time on outings and walks.
I really like this treat pouch. I like big treat pouches that can hold a lot more than just treats. I use it as part of my purse. I keep my phone, emergency medication, chap stick, hand sanitizer and a few other things in this in addition to the treats. Even with all the extra stuff I have in it it easily holds 2 or 3 snack size zippie bags of treats. I have a service dog and am training a new service dog. I like to always have treats on me. This is by far my favorite treat pouch I have tried and I have tried over a dozen different treat pouches. I like that this has a place on the side for me to attach things to. I have a clicker I keep on it. Most of my other treat pouches don't have that feature and I have found I don't want to use one that doesn't. There are 2 poop bag pockets on this with is great. The main pocket has a huge capacity. This treat pouch is very high quality and is holding up very well despite being used and abused. When the time comes I will be buying another one of these.
When I first started training dogs, I used a canvas nail apron from a hardwear store. This is quite a change for me. It's comfortable and it has a lot of room for treats. The one thing that was a bit less convenient is that it is deep and there is really not a way to have two different treats. I have a 110 pound cane corso and there are some things that he just won't do for a simple treat. I have to sometimes step it up and use what our instructor calls "a high value treat." It would be helpful to have the pouch be a bit wider, and a bit shallower with a divider.Over all, I do like the design of this Dog Treat Pouch. It is fairly functional, seems to be very durable, and it really light weight. It is worth the money, I just with that the pouch was just a little bit less deep.
This is the first treat bag i ever bought and it pretty much set the standard for what i want. I wear it on a belt specifically for walking dogs. I bought it in 2019 and it's still keepin up with us! I have huskies, and we do tons of hiking and camping trips, not to mention our multiple daily walks when we are home. This bag has not only stored treats but I've used this to carry rocks and bones I've found on our adventures. Super sturdy! Some of the edges have begun to stretch and tear but honestly that's probably bc i ask so much of this bag. It carries a lot of my stuff! Ample storage with two bag dispenser pockets, the front zipper big enough to hold an iPhone 11 and the back zipper secure for things like keys or ID. The only things I would change is how the bag closes, I wish it was magnetic, and I wish it was waterproof. When we walk in the rain the bag gets soaked and our treats get soggy. Despite this, I am probably going to buy this bag again. I'm glad it's still being sold bc other bags just don't check my boxes like this one!
I really like this treat pouch! I got one before of a different brand and it was much smaller than this one so it didn't hold as many treats as I'd have liked, but this one is perfect! It's fairly large compared to other treat pouches, so great for long training sessions or for bigger sized treats like jerky. Lots of pockets! The front mesh pocket can hold phones, but I would not advise that you keep your phone in that pocket while walking just in case it were to fall out.Great double poop bag dispenser! I also like how reflective it is and that it comes with two different straps to use! My last pouch (the one I mentioned before) didn't have a strap that fit me, as I am fairly small, but the straps to this pouch fit great! My only complaint is how difficult the clicker is to push when just using the middle of your finger rather than the very tip of it. That's not an issue if you don't use the clicker, I suppose, but it can be a good tool to use for capturing more complex behaviors while training.TL;DR Great treat pouch for the money! Spacious and durable!
I love this training bag. It has a roomy treat pouch, and I love that it comes with a portable water bowl and training clicker. I've been using the clicker a lot and now my dog gets excited every time he sees it because he knows it means treats are coming! The water bowl is small, but that's okay because it is super handy and has a carabiner on it so it easily clips to the side of the bag. I love the size and extra pockets too. I've been loading it up with my phone, wallet, and keys when I go out with my dog and it works great! It's easy to walk around with and the drawstring on the treat pouch is handy! My dog tried to get into it when I set it on the ground and he couldn't thanks to the drawstring. The waistband, waist clip, and cross-body strap are all amazing options! I decided to remove the waistband and just use the cross-body strap, but that is my preference. The cross-body strap also comes off super easy if you prefer the waistband or just clipping it to your pants. The metal waist clip is small enough that I don't notice it when I'm using the bag with the strap. Very versatile!
