A dog that inhales its dinner in seconds isn't just messy — gulping means swallowed air, choking risk, and a meal that's over before the mind ever switches on.

This slow-feeder bowl is Feeding enrichment: a ridged puzzle pattern that spreads kibble into nooks your dog has to nose and lick around, stretching a 30-second scarf-down into several minutes of calm, focused eating. EnrichCove curates feeding gear to a science-backed standard, so mealtime works your dog's brain, not just its stomach.

  • Maze-style ridges slow fast eaters and reduce gulped air
  • Holds up to 2 cups of dry food
  • Drops into most elevated feeder stands
  • Works for small, medium, and large breeds
  • Easy to rinse clean between meals

Turn every meal into a small puzzle — slower eating, steadier dog.

Does the job

This slow feeder fits right in my elevated Dog bowl holder and really slows him down, but not an annoying way.

Good for medium to large dogs

This is a great size for my 55lb husky. She was a rescue and had food insecurity. Even though we've had her for 5 years, she still scarfs down her food as soon as it hits the bowl. Unfortunately, she ingests a lot of air when she does that, and it causes digestive upset. This bowl made her slow down, so hopefully those issues will go away. It fit right into her food stand, so that's great and very easy. Seems like it's good quality. The amount of food we give her fits within the groove without spilling over. It's perfect

A Perfect Solution for a Quick Eater

Purchased for our young rescue pup. She had a tendency to gobble up her food so quickly that she got hiccups. As any dog mom knows, those hiccups can lead to other issues. After using for a few weeks, she noticeably slowed down with her mealtime antics. The size was perfect to use within our existing dog elevated bowl stand. It is easy to keep clean either hand wash or run through dishwasher. Give it a try if you are experiencing a similar issue with your furry family member.

Highly recommend!

Ordered this for a little dog who eats like a little piggy! She ate so fast she'd be done in seconds and an hour later she'd throw up. She gets a wet food and I didn't know if it would really work. She has not thrown up once in the few months since we started using it. And she has no trouble getting her food out of the bowl.

Decent product

Listen, my 8 month old lab puppy treats slow feeders like an Olympic event, and he's gong for the gold. He can clear a bowl in 45-60 seconds without one. This slows him down to about 2 minutes for kibble, and a bit longer if I smash soft food down low into it. For him that's a record. This 20 minutes business that's advertised for slow feeders doesn't apply to my dog, but maybe yours would do fine. I'm using it, and choosing to serve smaller meals more frequently throughout the day. The deeper grooves work better with his kibble/ hard food. He would need a much more difficult puzzle formation to slow him down to what he should be eating at, time wise. He should be at a level 2 puzzle for his age (out of 4 levels), but he's already using level 4 and figuring it out pretty quickly. I would consider this bowl a level 2. Btw, it doesn't fit perfectly in my raised dog feeder, but it's close enough. Maybe an eighth of an inch too big, so it doesn't sit tightly in the opening. A Leash Boss brand raised feeder is probably a more perfect fit. It doesn't affect the function of the bowl or feeder though.

Works as intended

This helped slow down my younger hound dog, she was devouring her bowl in less than 60 seconds. The viwl has extended that time to about 2-3 min which is better. It mostly fits her raised feeder stand as well. It's sturdy, thick plastic and easy to clean.

from a minute and a half to three minutes...Woohoo!

I have two Labradors and they both eat in about 90 seconds. I can honestly say that this took them a full three minutes to eat. I took off one star because it should be a little bit deeper so their tongues have to work harder. Otherwise I like it fine and it fits in their food bowl stand which is a plus.

Works Well

Our new puppy would gobble up his food and then run to our elderly (15yrs) dog's bowl and try to eat his food. We needed to slow him down. Our 7 year old dog has had one of these bowls for most of his life, so I bought our puppy one too. He is still fast, but it has definitely slowed him down. :)
