You switched to a raised feeder for your dog's posture — but now they gulp from it just as fast as before. An elevated bowl helps the neck, not the speed-eating.

This is Feeding enrichment for the setup you already own: a maze insert that drops into a raised or standard bowl and turns it into a foraging challenge. The ridged disc slows each bite and invites natural nose-led foraging, which can ease rushed, gulpy eating. EnrichCove curates feeding enrichment to a science-backed standard, so your existing feeder helps your dog slow down and thrive.

  • Maze insert drops into raised or standard bowls
  • Turns an ordinary feeder into a slow-foraging meal
  • Metal-tone finish, wipe-and-rinse clean
  • Anti-gulp ridges encourage a steadier pace
  • Check it fits your bowl's inner diameter

A meal your dog works through freely, right in the feeder they know.

Will it fit my raised feeder?

Measure your bowl's inner diameter and match it to the insert before first use, so it sits flat and secure. Add the usual portion on top, let your dog forage, and supervise the first few meals with water nearby. If your dog gulps anxiously or has had bloat, ask your vet about pacing.

Slow Feeder Insert FAQ

Does it work with my elevated feeder? Yes — an EnrichCove slow feeder insert drops into raised or standard bowls; just match it to your inner diameter.

Will it stay in place? Sized correctly, it sits flat so your dog can forage without flipping it.

How do I clean it? Lift it out and rinse the channels, then drop it back in.

Works well

Reduced my dogs fast messy eating. Better for her body and the clean up on floor. Good dish if your dog eats too fast.

Fits perfectly in raised feeder.

Great bowl. It slowed my lab down and it fits perfectly in her raised feeder.

Happy with this

It fits in the elevated feeding stand. Measurements are spot on. The dividers are spaced so that my 80 pound Pitbull rescue with her short wide snout she can get to the food, but has to eat slower to get around the dividers. The bowl is easy to wash and dry.

Slow feeder that works.

We have a 5-month-old standard poodle that eats way too fast, then would get sick. This has been the game changer for us. He absolutely slows down to eat. It fit directly in our stainless steel bowl. Love it

Works perfectly!

My Great Dane used to suck her food down in seconds. Now with this bowl it takes her 5 to 6 minutes to finish her food.

Spare human approved

Humans love it because it worked great to slow the dog's eating and easy to clean. Dog doesn't approve (lol) because now he can't eat at the speed of light & puke on the rug.

Great for Beagles with an elevated feeder stand.

I have a Beagle so this is a must have. The depth and pattern is just right. This is almost a perfect fit in our elevated feeder stand but it works.

Slowed down meals considerably!

Fits in 9" elevated feeder as described (others did not) and slowed my boxer's feeding frenzy down A LOT! What used to be a 30 second meal now takes well over 5 minutes. No regurgitation/vomiting since switching. Wish it had a slightly larger lip for a little more flexibility with the variations in elevated feeders. But works well. Heavy duty plastic. Releases food easily for quick cleanup.
