As you can see from my photos, this is a very attractive sturdy gate. Based on other reviews, I was not sure if my cats would get around it by jumping over, but it's 2 days in now and neither one has even thought about jumping,They sniffed around the edges, but perceived that it looked like it was attached to the door frame and never even attempted to move it. From my standpoint, it is even easier to maneuver open and closed that I had imagined. My second photo shows how much I slide just one side open to get in and out-- very easy; it glides smoothly across my concrete floor. I am delighted with such a simple solution to letting cooling breezes into my bedroom without allowing my cats in as well.
I've been searching several months for a small affordable pet gate and when this one popped up in my search, I knew it was the one. The second bedroom in my home is where I do my stretching exercises. The floor has two stacked rugs and a couple of soft blankets. It's very comfortable for me to work out, but my cat really likes it as well. I have to leave the door open because for some reason this room doesn't get enough air flow and gets really hot in the summer. This gate is very high quality and is easy to move around. It looks really nice and it keeps the cat out of the room as well. I suspect some pets could jump over it because it's about mid-thigh height for me. But my cat hasn't figured it out yet. I really like this gate a lot and highly recommend it.
I'm a school counselor and I use these in my office to contain my therapy dog. He's a golden retriever, so a pretty big boy, and they work to keep him inside the office suite while still having the main doors open to the hallway. He's not a jumper (wouldn't be a great therapy dog if he was!) and he's a little bit afraid of them (haha) so they do a great job of providing a boundary. Kids can climb over them or move one side like a little door to open them and come in. The gates came fully assembled and I ordered the gray. It's a lovely calming color and goes great with our decor. On days that he stays home, I just lean the gates against the wall. They are a great, non permanent option and get the job done. I wouldn't recommend these for jumpers or dogs that would push them out of the way.

This was literally the best $50 I have ever spent. Stands up sturdy, fits my stairway opening to keep the puppies from going down the steps. I went down a rabbit hole of dog gates. I'm so glad I picked this one.

We use this at the bottom of our stairs. It is sturdy, looks pretty as it matches the dark wood and dark leather we have in the area near the steps, and it is easy to maneuver for us to go up and down the stairs. Very happy with this purchase.
The white foldable gate is much more attractive than what we were using before. it is 24" high which is perfect for our medium size dog. It is easy to lift, open, and close. It is successfully keeping our sweet dog out of the bedroom during the day by blocking the doorway. There is no assembly required. It is not adjustable in height; however, depending on how far you spread the two panels, it can accommodate a few different widths; however, it is not very long in length which is what we wanted. We have a longer, taller gate from the same manufacturer in front of our dining room. We enjoyed the bigger one so much, we decided to get the 2-panel folding gate. Suffice it to say, we like this brand of gate and if needed would purchase additional ones without hesitation.
