Bought this to make a plastic chain to hook my pool thermometer to, since the string kept breaking. Imagine my surprise when I received this to find that all the links were individual links in a bag. I had to link the links together to make a chain. It wasn't hard to do; it probably took me longer to separate out the blue and purple colors than it did to make a chain with them.
I've been using these to hand things up and hold things down in the rat cage. They love their "bird baths" but also love to rearrange stuff and these keep the water bowls from being dumped over.
Very colorful and chains lock together very well.
I'm using these in my sugar glider cage and there great they are sturdy and I have no worries about them not holding up my gliders pouches and toys . Definitely plan to get more and more colors
My parakeets are very interested in these, and that is saying quite a lot. Many times when I put in something new, they won't even go near it. In fact, they avoid the whole side of the cage to keep away from it. But I put some bells along a chain of these, and they actually don't seem afraid to test them out. That's progress! The are also handy for putting things up in the cage in a way that is safe. That's important to me because I had a bird injured once from the hangar I used to put something up with. These provide a much better way. I think you get a lot for your money with these, but though they look durable, I can't say quite yet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a bird.
