My girls love these. They drag them around and chew on them until they are gone. I gifted some to a rescue and she said these would be a new staple she keeps for the guinea pigs. I always keep a couple of these out. It is a great treat for them and keeps them stimulated. One of mine loved to try and drag it into her house with her. I have bought these several times. Highly recommend them
My rabbits love this treat! 10/10 Recommend!
Purchased as a present for my neighbor and her rabbit. She wanted something to help entertain her rabbit while giving Bun-Bun something to chew on besides her electrical cords. (Ha!). She had high praise for the balls and Bun-Bun found them to be delicious.
Great for them to play and chew on
Fun interactive toy for guinea pigs and bunnies. They all went nuts when they smelled the fresh, delicious hay ball. They lasted about a week. They are big in size. Well worth the money. I will be purchasing again.
Our rabbit is a big choncky boy so he goes through edible toys like no one's business. I was scared these would be the same since they're not condensed, just woven hay, but they're each lasting him a couple weeks at least. Some other ones he goes through in an hour.
I have a rabbitry, and my rabbits like these hay balls. Because they are balls, they don't get urinated on. They roll around and are useful for play. They smell like fresh hay, which the bunnies like. Bunnies enjoy chewing on them. So far I have found them more durable and more value for the money than woven bungalows. Rabbits, especially does, want to "clean up" their space and keep it tidy. Because of that, does will mostly tear up anything that seems to be in their space that does not belong there if it is large. Imagine cardboard boxes or cardboard egg cartons. The hay balls provide extended play because they are smaller. The rabbits are not driven to tear them up.I prefer to use fresh hand-harvested grasses for my rabbits in the months when I can harvest grass. I use these hay balls for the winter months. I would always use fresh grass you hand harvest if you have that option, but these hay balls are better than loose hay in the winter.
The excitement my little Guinea Pigs show when I put these hay balls in their cage is so funny! They wheek for joy and proceed to try to pull the ball into a hidey house or under their hammocks. They fight over one ball when there are more than enough to go around. The one that one piggy has must be the best so they all take turns taking it from each other and running away with it. It's really quite entertaining to watch. If you have Guinea Pigs and want to give them something safe, enriching, and beneficial to their dental health then these hayballs are it! Get some and watch them go nuts for them.
