A small pet in an open cage with nowhere to tuck away stays on edge — exposed, watchful, and quick to startle. The instinct to hide isn't shyness; it's how a prey animal feels safe enough to relax.
This is Habitat and Cognitive enrichment: a natural coconut-shell hideout paired with a hanging swing that gives your small pet a snug place to retreat and a little climb to work for. A secure hideaway supports calmer, more confident behavior, while the swing adds gentle movement and exploration to the day. EnrichCove curates habitat enrichment to a science-backed standard, so your small pet can hide, climb, and thrive.

How do I set it up in the cage?
Secure the swing at a low, reachable height first so your pet learns the climb, and place the coconut hideout in a quiet corner of the cage. Let your pet discover both at its own pace. Supervise early climbs until your pet is sure-footed, check the fastenings over time, and ask your vet if your small pet seems too anxious to come out and explore.
